Gratitude Challenge

Creating a gratitude practice was transformational for me. I was in a job where I did not feel valued for my contributions and over time, I was stressed and started to get bitter. The situation impacted my mood, my health and more. One day, I realized the only person I was making miserable was me. I needed to shift my focus. Someone had gifted me a gratitude journal and I started looking at all the things in my life I had to be grateful for, from my paycheck to my family to the basics like food, water and shelter. I had gotten so caught up in what wasn’t working in my life that I forgot about all the things that were. Making this shift has improved my health, my outlook, and my relationships.  I am also a much happier person.
